Laurea has two wireless networks available, one for personnel and one for visitors.
Visitor and personnel wlan is available in all Laurea campuses although there can be some areas that has poor connection or none at all.
Laurea visitor wlan
Students and Laurea visitors can use visitor wlan to connect their laptops or other devices to internet. You can access only public services from visitor wlan (services you can use anywhere). Some of our services are only available from intranet.
Wherever visitor wlan is available you can find it by name laurea-visitor

Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows participating institutions (https://www.eduroam.org/index.php?p=where) to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop. - Eduroam or Laurea Eduroam
- Choose Public network if asked. You should choose public when ever you use Laurea laptop and other than Laurea network.
- You can now use Eduroam network in Laurea and in all the other member organizations.
Write down username in the following form firstname.lastname@example.org. Password is your Laurea password. You will need to login again when you change your password.
Laurea IT will configure personnel wlan to all Laurea laptops. If necessary contact Helpdesk.
