Our reference bank has compiled results from RDI activities and information on ongoing and already completed projects. The projects are a central form of RDI activities at Laurea, and collaboration takes place with the help of other universities of applied sciences, universities, and research institutions both nationally and internationally.
Project activities at Laurea
At Laurea project work is integrated into teaching as a central component. Consequently, students learn in different kinds of projects with real-life business development targets, which helps students grow as professionals and experts in their own field with a firm grip on development. Our experts work in project entities which combine the knowledge and skills of different fields with businesses and students, giving rise to dazzling results.
Projects are implemented both at the premises of our collaborative partners, as well as in development environments located in the various Laurea campuses – the Laurea Living Labs. Laurea Living Labs are available for various needs from nursing simulators and restaurants all the way to multisensory spaces. Labs include physical spaces where actors can convene, various centralised service entities, simulation centres, and virtual environments meeting the requirements set for digitalised operating environments.
Laurea operates in many national and international networks. Our extensive networks are utilised in different development projects.
