ACOPE - Arctic Operational Emergency Agency Innovation Platform

The ACOPE designed the Arctic operational emergency agency innovation platform and developed the network of Arctic emergency agencies in Europe as well as positioned the network as preferred partner on Arctic Safety and Security within the EU HORIZON 2020 program. The Project linked the innovation consortium to the UArctic academic thematic network on Arctic Safety and Security, the Arctic Council EPPR working group and the Arctic Coast Guard Forum (ACGF). Laurea was a partner and the main task was to contribute to the development of the platform from end-user needs point of view. ACOPE was funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
