Path - from idea into growth business

The goal of the project was to create useful services for the entrepreneurs in the pre-startup phase and support them more efficiently. The aim was to get higher quality startups in the future. The services were to help developing the business ideas further, help with team building as well as help with establishing the company. The project aimed also to create and improve networks as well as to test different co-working spaces.

The project met with over 200 teams which all received advise and coaching. More than 3000 people interested in either becoming startup entrepreneurs or joining startup teams took part in the events and trainings organized during the project. The topics covered developing business ideas, legal matters, finding funding, team building and finding new team members or co-founders. Some new concepts were developed like an event called Industrial Speed Dating. In the end of the project a new intensive two-week co-creation based program concept called 10 Days 100 Challenges was created and piloted. This program has already been run again after the project in cooperation with three Universities of Applied Sciences (3UAS strategic alliance), Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia. Also a pre-startup accelerator called Turbiini was launched during the project. Turbiini is now run by the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
