LAUREA – LACU WORKSHOP WEEK

We are pleased to inform you about the Laurea University of Applied Sciences – Latin American Countries' Universities (LACU) Week of Workshops on 13 – 17 June 2016, Espoo, Finland.
Laurea is actively engaged in cooperation or seeking to build new cooperation with research partners from Europe and the LAC region. Laurea has been active forming networks of interested partners in Latin American universities in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. Focus is on lecturers and researchers of EU-LAC universities that share common research approach. Foster further collaboration between EU and Latin American universities that share common research interests. Assess the possibility to participate in joint programs and projects. And ultimately, sharing the results of academic or practice oriented articles that might have a positive influence and social impact in both regions.
The main purpose of the week is to build a strong multidisciplinary research consortium on the selected thematic research areas and preparing an application for EU-research funding (H2020).
Research consortium and collaboration in research
- Academic research collaboration, collaborative writing both in funding applications and other academic publications
- Learning from each other and testing ideas in different contexts
- Apply project funding together
