5 Stars partnership
The project 5 Stars partnership develops a pedagogical model for regional development work and nurse education. Development work is based on a network of educational institutions and hospitals in Denmark, Finland and Latvia.

The purpose is to test, evaluate and disseminate a pedagogical model; the joint development processes are based on Learning by Developing –model (LbD) created in Laurea UAS. The ultimate goal is to create the Nordic/Baltic action model of learning by developing.
Project 5 Stars partnership (1.8.2013 - 1.8.2015) is partly funded by Nordplus Horizontal.
Lillebaelt University College and Lillebaelt Hospital from Denmark, Riga Red Cross University College and Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital from Latvia, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Arcada University of Applied Sciences and Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa, Lohja Hospital Area from Finland are the project partners.
