Laurea University of Applied Sciences invites you to participate in four workshops focusing on opportunities provided by digital solutions in the promotion of health and wellbeing. The workshops are organized by Co-created Healthier Uusimaa -project. The events will be held in Finnish.
How to utilize technology to promote wellbeing and renew services?
Date: Tuesday, 11.4.2017, at 11.30 am – 4.00 pm
Location: Laurea, Porvoo campus (Taidetehtaankatu 1, Porvoo)
In this workshop we will discuss the present opportunities and challenges related to the use of digital services in promoting the wellbeing of citizens and renewal of social and health care services in the eastern part of Uusimaa. In addition we aim to co-create paths to our “digitalized future”. We welcome all who are interested in combining wellbeing and technology. In addition, we invite companies and other organisations to book stands for Wellbeing & Health Tech Mini-Fair that is organized during the same afternoon.

Wellbeing Forum: Digital Health and Wellbeing Solutions Supporting Everyday Life
Date: Thursday, 27.4.2017, at 12.00 am – 4.00 pm
Location: Laurea, Lohja campus (Nummentie 6, Lohja)
In this Forum we will share the insights gathered on the challenges and unmet needs of the citizens, clients and their informal carers in the western part of Uusimaa region. Based on the insights we will co-create ideas for new digital health and wellbeing solutions. We will also hear real cases how to develop services together with clients and professionals.
We invite citizens, clients and their close ones, representatives of public, private and third sector organisations to participate in the Wellbeing Forum. In addition, we invite companies and other organisations to book stands for Wellbeing & Health Tech Mini-Fair that is organized during the same afternoon.

”Listen to the client” – Ideation workshop to co-create digital wellbeing solutions
Date: Tuesday, 2.5.2017, at 12.00 am – 4.00 pm.
Location: Laurea, Tikkurila campus (Ratatie 11, Vantaa)
The workshop starts with presenting and discussing the customer insights gathered by the project Co-Created Healthier Uusimaa during the spring 2017. The insights – challenges and unmet needs – are based on the interviews with citizens, clients and their informal carers, patient organisations etc. The interviews are focused on deepening understanding of the everyday life and coping mechanisms of clients and the challenges and opportunities of digital wellbeing solutions.
The workshop proceeds with a facilitated ideation session. The participants will be divided into small groups consisting of clients, students, representatives of companies and associations. The groups will co-create ideas for new digital wellbeing solutions. The best idea will be awarded.
We also invite companies and other organisations to give a 2-min pitch in the end of the workshop. If you are interested in pitching, please send the description of your innovative digital wellbeing solution to firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of March. We reserve the right to limit the number of pitches.
Join the workshop to listen to the everyday challenges of the clients. Pick up all the ideas, and develop them further to launch new digital wellbeing services!

Future Insights on Digital Health and Wellbeing
Date: Wednesday, 10.5.2017, at 12.00 am – 3.30 pm
Location:Laurea, Otaniemi (Metsänpojankuja 3, Espoo)
In the workshop we discuss the present opportunities and challenges related to the use of digital services in promoting the health and wellbeing of citizens in the metropolitan area. In addition, we aim to co-create paths to our “digitalized future”, based on future trends and the results of the Laurea Tikkurila workshop (2.5.). We welcome everybody who is interested in combining wellbeing and technology.
