Thank you to 768 Laurea Library users who answered the National Customer Survey of Libraries in spring 2017


We have analyzed the data and chosen the core development aims found below. The statements in the survey were evaluated on a scale of 1 – 5 (highest).

The main areas for development:

Developing group study rooms and individual study spaces (3.29 and 3.83)
Library video guides (3.66)
Library chat (3.80)

We collaborate with Laurea’s facilities management in order to develop premises which will suit better the students’ needs.

We develop the usability and contents of the Library’s network tools to support studying and information management (Finna’s  guidance videos and the chat service).

We succeeded best in:

Expertise and service attitude of the staff (4.69 and 4.65)
Borrowing, returning and renewing loans, reservations (4.55)
Information services (4.50)

 

As a whole, the library services function well (4.36).

The lots was drawn. The winner of the iPad was from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
