Open study places in BIT are open for applying from July 2nd to July 16th. Studies begin on August 27th.
The Degree programme in Business Information Technology starting in August at Laurea Leppävaara campus has open study places, which will be filled with a supplementary application period from July 2nd to July 16th.
The Business Information Technology programme prepares you for a career in ICT in a role where technology interfaces with other functions of businesses and organizations.
During your studies, you develop knowledge and skills to succeed in today's dynamic and competitive ICT environment and acquire a broad understanding of how ICT can affect the success of businesses in various industry sectors.
Studies are focused in the application of industry practices, standards and technologies in the development of solutions for the service business i general.
Specialization studies are available in Web development, Mobile application development, Cybersecurity technologies, Information security management and entrepreneurship.

The application form opens July 2nd 8AM Finnish time and closes on July 16th 3PM Finnish time. The studies will begin on August 27th 2018.
To apply, fill in the application form for supplementary application at Studyinfo.fi and submit the copies of your educational certificates (final high school/upper secondary school graduation certificates) proving your eligibility to apply to the Laurea Admission Services by July 30th 2018 15:00.
Applicants will be admitted based on the supplementary application exam which includes a written part (an essay writing task and a mathematics-logics part) and a group discussion.
The entrance exam for the Laurea Degree Programme in Business Information Technology will take place on August 14th 2018 at Laurea Leppävaara campus (address: Vanha maantie 9, 02650 Espoo). Registration starts at 8.00am; written exam takes place from 9.00am until 11.00am after which the group discussions will take place from 12.00am onwards.
