Laurea University of Applied Sciences took part in Smart City Expo World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain last week. Last week the international summit of discussion about the link between urban reality and technological revolution attracted over 14 000 visitors.
In the congress Laurea UAS hosted a panel discussion which focused on Living Labs contributing to creating social cohesion in the age of digitalization. The discussion was led by director Tuija Hirvikoski from Laurea.
Laurea was also present in the congress alongside cities from the Uusimaa region. On the spotlight was the KYKY operating model for co-creation for schools and companies created by the City of Espoo. Laurea participated in developing the model based on Living Lab methods.
