International success in design competition for Laurea's service

The service developed and maintained by Laurea's students won the Co-Design category of the Japanese IAUD Award design competition. The previous success of had impressed the jury and the service was invited directly to the 2nd selection of the competition.

The aim of the Japanese International Association for Universal Design (IAUD) is to promote healthy development of society and welfare of humanity with help of design and the competition that has been organised since 2010. The actual award ceremony will be organised in March 2016. already won the Best Practice 2015 award presented by the Design for All Foundation in Paris earlier, in March 2015, as well as the Social innovation category in the competition of the European Union Women Innovators and Inventors Network in London in October 2015.
