Demonstrating innovative nature-based solutions in cities


​Lecturer Julia Nevmerzhitskaya and her team are coordinating a second stage proposal for Horizon 2020 call Smart and Sustainable Cities.

Together with front-runner and follower-cities, research and academia partners, enterprises and a living lab network organization from nine different countries the partner consortia has gathered in Leppävaara, Espoo and online to prepare the proposal between 19.- 21.6.2017 intensive days.

The proposal demonstrates how urban agriculture solutions can solve societal problems in cities with its impacts.
Furthermore it strengths the cooperation between Helsinki Metropolitan Universities of Applied Sciences - R&D Excellence.
