Crisis Management Summer School started in Leppavaara

Summer School is organized by European CONRIS- for Security Cooperation or Network for Risk, Safety & Security Studies network, which Laurea is a part of. 

Crisis Management Summer School was launched at Leppavaara campus. English summer school's theme is Managing the Safety & Security Effects of the Refugee Crisis. Students were divided into groups and the task for each group was to investigate different subjects specified by the theme of the summer school. During the first day of the summer school,  student groups produced a project-plan and investigated the given subjects. During their last day on Thursday 7.6 every group will present their final results and conclusions about the subject to other groups participating in to the summer school.

Summer school ends on Thursday. Eva who studies Social Security Management -Bachelor Degree in the University of Vives, intends to stay for an extra week in Finland to enjoy her summer holiday.

Yannick, who studies his second year of Intergrated Security Management -Bachelor Degree in the Artesis Plantijn University College Antwerp, arrived to Finland on Saturday and returns to Belgium on Friday. During the first days in Finland he has already visited Sello in Leppavaara.
