The exercise was held between 26-29 January in Tinglev, Denmark and Cologne, Germany.
The exercise scenario took place in an imaginative country of Modulistan, where earthquake, heavy rainfall and severe storms had caused widespread damage and flooding to infrastructure.
The scenario presented participants a wide range and variety of problems: technical, logistical, political and strategic. The scenario had been specifically developed to deal with the immediate consequences following a major natural disaster.
Laurea’s multinational team of experts task was to evaluate how the exercise was organized and how the organizers performed. Now the collected and reported evaluation findings will be analysed and collated with the data from other EU Civil Protection exercises.
