The first joint application process for higher education institutions of the spring open between 4 and 18 January 2023. The application process is for foreign-language degree programmes. Laurea University of Applied Sciences offers six bachelor’s degree programmes and three English-language degree programmes leading to a master's degree. The total number of starting places in these degree programmes is 270.
The first joint application period of the year offers the opportunity to study for a bachelor’s or master's degree in English. In English-language education, studying strengthens language proficiency, provides experience of working in an international environment and expands career opportunities.
Flexible forms of study
You can apply for degree-awarding education in English after completing upper secondary school studies or vocational studies. There is no separate language proficiency requirement. Instead, language studies completed in upper secondary education give you the competence to apply for education in English. The application requirement for master’s degree studies is to complete a bachelor’s degree or other suitable higher education degree, and after this, at least two years of work experience in the field in question.
Laurea University of Applied Sciences offers students flexible study opportunities suitable for different life situations. The January joint application period offers education in the form of daytime studies, flexible blended learning and studies completed entirely online.
Blended learning consists of face-to-face instruction, distance learning and independent study. It makes it possible to study flexibly alongside work. Online studies are suitable as a form of study for students who work alongside their studies or who live far away from Laurea campuses.
Education in Leppävaara and Tikkurila
The education offered in the joint application process that is now beginning will start in autumn 2023. Education is available on two Laurea campuses: Leppävaara campus in Espoo and Tikkurila campus in Vantaa.
Education leading to a bachelor’s degree at Laurea included in the January application period:

The application period for the joint application process ends on Wednesday 18 January 2023 at 3 pm. Applications are submitted electronically at www.opintopolku.fi.
