Join us for an unforgettable alumni event where entrepreneur and performer Ali Jahangiri will share powerful insights on how to make your dreams come true. Through inspiring keynote speakers, Head of International Talent & Softlanding team Takura Matswetu and Specialist Chloe Järvinen, you will also learn about networking and on how to thrive not just survive in today’s competitive and constantly changing Finnish labour market. You will also have a chance to participate in a networking workshop organised by Career Services Specialist Esa Hukkanen.

The event is aimed at alumni with a foreign background whose native language is not Finnish or Swedish and who may face challenges in finding their place in the Finnish labour market. The program focuses on employment opportunities in Finland.

  If Ali can do it, so can you! Groundbreaking succes in Finland doesn´t have to break anybody! An inspiring speach by one of the pioneers of ethnic diversity in Finland. Ali Jahangiri is a Finnish-Iranian stand-up comedian. Jahangiri has a background in economics and has worked as a project manager. He is nowadays also a K-retailer (K-kauppias).

  Chloe Järvinen has over 10 years of experience supporting jobseekers to develop their talents, overcome barriers, and find employment paths that truly fit their lives. In this talk, she will share practical strategies for thriving—not just surviving—in today’s competitive and ever-evolving Finnish labour market.
