Laurea University of Applied Sciences offers six Bachelor Degree Programmes delivered in English:

Additional application period for Business Information Technology
An
additional application period for the Degree Programme in Business Information Technology will take place 13th - 20th August 2010.

The entrance exam for the Degree programme in BIT is a written exam and it will be arrranged 26th August at 12:00 -15:00 pm (registration for the exam at 11:00-11:45) at the address: Laurea Leppävaara, Vanha maantie 9, 02650 Espoo. Invitation letters for the entrance exams will not be sent. All applicants who have filled in the application form may participate in the exam. However, applicants must supply the Admissions Office with the required certificates by 20th August in order to be considered for admission. Eligibility selection criteria set for 2010. Student selection will be based on the results of the entrance exam only. Studies will begin in Leppävaara 13th September 2010.

All applicants must provide a photocopy of his/her upper secondary school final graduation certificate. Applicants who are non EU nationals and applying with a non-Finnish upper secondary school certificate must also provide an approved English language skills certificate to the Laurea Admissions Office latest by 20th August 2010. If your certificates are not in English, Finnish or Swedish please provide a photocopy of its official authorised translation (English or Finnish or Swedish). Due to the limited time given between the entrance exam and beginning of studies, before applying please ensure you are able participate in the entrance exam in Finland. Entrance exams will not be arranged outside Finland or at any other places or times.

Additional application period for Facility Management
The
additional application period for the Degree Programme in Facility Management ended 18th June 2010. The invitations to the entrance exam have been sent to eligible applicants in June.The entrance exam will be held in Leppävaara campus on August 12th 2010 and studies begin August 30th in ‎Leppävaara. Applicants' eligibility to apply was determined by the admissions office based on the certificates received by the 18th June 2010. Eligibility selection criteria set for 2010. Student selection will be based on the results of the entrance exam only.

Joint application for Degree Programmes in English

Application to the Bachelor's level undergraduate programmes conducted in English at polytechnics/Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) takes place through the Finnish joint national application system at www.admissions.fi. Prospective students can apply to four different degree programmes at polytechnics/UAS using the same application form. The application form is submitted online and received by the Admissions office of the applicant's first choice polytechnic/UAS. An applicant's eligibility to apply is determined by the Admissions Office.

Consider your options of preference carefully

You can apply for up to four different degree programmes at polytechnics/UAS in Finland with the application form at www.admissions.fi . Always choose your most preferred degree programme as your first option, and then choose your second to fourth options when applicable.The order of preference chosen in the application is binding and cannot be altered after the application period closes.

If you are not accepted to the programme of your first preference, your points will be checked to see if you can be accepted for your second, third or fourth preference. An applicant can be accepted to one degree programme only. If you are accepted to the degree programme of your first preference, you cannot be selected for your second, third or fourth preference.
