Laurea Tikkurila International Week 7-11 March 2011
On 7-11 March at Laurea Tikkurila, International Week 2011 will bring together Laurea’s students and International Cooperation Partners from higher education and working life from the field of Social and Correctional Services and Health and Beauty Care to explore the theme Promoting Welfare Service Innovations - Entrepreneurship, Voluntary Work and Third Sector, in connection with the European Year of Volunteering 2011.
The week begins with an afternoon seminar that presents the latest results and progress from ongoing research and development projects.
The tradition of International Week started in year 2000 and has created many cooperation projects. In addition to international networking and learning, the week aims to present, promote and discuss the current themes of entrepreneurship, voluntary work and third sector within Social and Health Care.
